Friction Stir Welding (FSW) is one of the welding technologies that uses friction between tool rotation and stationary workpieces. The purpose of this research is to study the effect of the tool tilt angle on the Friction Stir Welding (FSW) welding joint on the mechanical properties and microstructure. Materials and tools used are Aluminum 5083, milling machines, HSS tools. The welding parameters used are 1500 Rpm spindle rotation, 60 mm / minute feed rate, 3.1 mm tool depth.
