ANALISIS KEPUTUSAN INVESTASI SAHAM PADA SEKTOR MINYAK BUMI DAN GAS ALAM DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA

The purpose of this study was to analyze the investment decisions of shares in the oil and natural gas on the indonesia stock exchange based on data from the 2013-2017 annual financial statements. The sample in this study used two companies, namely ELSA and RUIS. Data analysis techniques in this study use the concept of VaR and RAROC to measure the feasibility of investment in making investment decisions. Based on the results of the analysis for five years using the VaR concept in both ELSA and RUIS the results indicate that there is a risk that will be accepted by investors. In the results of the analysis for five years with the RAROC concept both on ELSA and RUIS the results show that there are profits or returns to be obtained by investors. So investing in shares in boyh ELSA and RUIS shows high risk high returns, but investing in shares in the oil and natural gas sector at RUIS is more attractive or feasible that are directly proportional to the returns received and risks to be borne both have the same value
