Russia finally formalized its second strategic policy on December 31 2015 called the Russian National Security Strategies (RNSS). The interesting thing in this policy is that there is one point that states that Russia feels threatened by the presence of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) which is getting closer to the borders of Russia due to NATO's expansion in Eastern Europe.
