PEMBINAAN KEAGAMAAN BAGI USIA LANJUT DI UPT PELAYANAN SOSIAL TRESNA WERDHA JOMBANG

Religious Development aims to help a human to back to their natural tendency; doing the worship to God. In addition, Elderly religious development aims to increase the quality of faith and devotion to God. Hence, the elderly will be motivated and facilitated to do the worship to God and wish that they dead in khusnul khotimah. Moreover, this study aims to describe the implementation of religious development program and find out the purpose of it for elderly at Tresna Werdha Social Service, Jombang. This study applied qualitative approach with case study type. The data were collected by using interview method, observation, and documentation. The finding of this study showed that the religious development was conducted in the mosque and hall in every single activities scheduled. The materials given for the elderly were about Aqeedah, Morals, Fiqh, and Tazqiyatun Nafs. All the materials were delivered in simple ways, problem based, communicative, and experience sharing. Furthermore, the purpose of elderly religious development namely; 1) gave an inner peace for the elderly, 2) motivated the elderly to do the worship diligently in their age, 3) gave the happiness and motivation to elderly to do the kindness in their life
