this paper, these pdes have been solved numerically by means of an efficient, parallel implementation of the Hopscotch technique which employs the Lax-Wendroff method for the hyperbolic part of the equations, and combines explicit and implicit discretizations. The parallel method reduces by two the number of messages per cycle and enables the overlapping of these messages with the computations, and is considerably faster and more scalable than its usual implementation on parallel environments.
