Introduction We have been studying and developing a computational model and system which can be applied to solve real-world problems on massively parallel processors. As a target problem, we examine a large-scale real-world simulation which is considered to be one of the best applications for massively parallel processors. A real-world simulation is characterized by the need to derive useful results even with incomplete information. Not all of factors required for complete simulation are known at first. By providing new factors to the simulator, the precision of the simulation can be improved. Our objective is to establish a new programming paradigm suitable for massively parallel programming. We thus propose a "spacetime object model&...
