Add to ORKGAutomobile parking demand is a derived demand that is increasing in many airports around the world due to the growth in the number of passengers and aircraft movements. Hence, forecasting future parking demand is becoming a significant issue for many airports around the world. Using Seattle Airport as a case study, a spreadsheet model to estimate parking demand was generated and reported in this paper. This simple user-friendly spreadsheet model is a useful tool for airport planners and managers to optimize scare resources and minimize land and construction costs
