According to Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary, a checklist is, simply, “a list of things to be checked or done. ” Michael Scriven has identified and analyzed several types of checklists: laundry lists, sequential checklists, iterative checklists, diagnostic checklists, and criteria of merit checklists.
