Interface Communities (CWPP). The Handbook serves as an excellent outline offering sensible approaches in planning to protect at-risk communities from wildfire. The International Association of Fire Chiefs Wildland Fire Policy Committee directed a Process Action Team (PAT) to be formed under the leadership of Fire Chief Gary Smith and Fire Chief Douglas R.
