The contents of the report are the product of the work of the Team selected by the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna. The overall scientific supervision, and the internal quality control of the evaluation has been ensured by Prof. Andreas de Guttry from the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna. The analysis of the Peruvian macroeconomic data has been entrusted to Prof. Davide Fiaschi from the University of Pisa. Ms. Serena Rossignoli, senior evaluator from the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, worked together with the author all along the evaluation process and in determining all the report findings. While no formally part of the Team, two more persons contributed to its work and should be acknowledged here, that is Dr. Lisa Gianmoenia from the University of Pisa who assisted Prof. Fiaschi, and Ms. Margherita Melillo from the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna who volunteered to support the Team in gathering information concerning debt-for-development swaps signed by Italy, and in drawing a comparison between the Italian practice in this field and that of other Paris Club members.
