this report, a comprehensive approach is taken in designing a communication system. Different modulation schemes, device nonlinearities, adjacent channel interference (ACI), and intermodulation distortion will be considered while presenting a means of measuring the total power needed per transmitted bit. This approach will also help determine the optimal amplifier backoff and a bandwidth efficient modulation scheme. In this report, a brief introduction about the multicast transmission system will be presented in Section 7.1. Transmitter nonlinearities are then discussed in Section 8.
