. This paper introduces ECM, a new coordination model, and one of his language binding, STL++. STL++ is aimed at making parallel and distributed programs' construction easier by providing a set of powerful tools that clearly describe the coordination part of an application. These tools, embedded in an object-oriented computation language, enable distributed components to be dynamically reconfigured. STL++ acts also as a coordination language especially well suited for distributed implementations of multi-agent systems. It is aimed at giving basic constructs for the implementation of generic multi-agent platforms.
