The Reversed Flow Gas Chromatography (R.F.G.C) technique was used for studying interactions between gaseous pollutants and aquatic environment. For the gaseous pollutants SO2 and NO2 adsorption and dilution in the water environment were investigated by calculating physicochemical parameters such as diffusion coefficient of the gaseous pollutant in the liquid phase, DL, rate constant for the chemical reaction of the pollutant with the water, kR, and distribution coefficient, K = KL / Kg, for the gaseous pollutant between the liquid and the gas phase.
