Introduction: Hip fracture is a major public health problem that threatens physical and functional ability, leading to disability, reduced quality of life, and increased mortality. The incidence of falls and fractures has been shown to increase logarithmically with age. It is also characterized by high management costs, both in terms of hospital treatment and rehabilitation. In the international literature there is disagreement regarding the profile of people at higher risk of hip fracture. For some risk factors, positive correlation with falls and hip fractures has been consistently found, while for some other socio-economic and clinical factors, the available literature provides ambiguous results.Purpose: In this context, the purpose of t...
