Abstract—A new single stage Three level ac-dc converter that can operate with standard phase shift modulation is proposed in this paper. The converter topology is very simple, and this method of control used to achieve both power factor correction and ac-dc conversion. Converter operation is explained and power factor is improved in this paper. Finally the efficiency of the new converter is compared with that of previously proposed converter.
