Due to the rapid development in the field of wireless communications there is an increasing demand for higher data rate and large bandwidth. The emerging Ultra Wideband (UWB) is a promising technology as it can accommodate higher data over a large bandwidth. The design of an antenna for UWB system is a challenging task. Many antennas have been designed for UWB with acceptable performance. A suitable UWB antenna should operate over entire UWB allocated by FCC (3.1-10.6 GHz), it should have linear phase, low dispersion and VSWR 2 throughout the entire band.
