The mortality and morbidity of cancer are becoming major public health problems in many developed and developing countries. In Iran, colorectal cancer (CRC) is the third most common type of cancer in men and the fourth among women. Colorectal cancer is a multi-factorial disease and diet has a significant role in its etiology and progress.
