Revisitando os estudos sobre capacidades dinâmicas e empresa familiar

Research on dynamic capabilities and family business is still scarce in Brazil. It becomes relevant to study the combination of these themes that has been receiving prominence in recent years in the academy. This study presents the contribution of what has been produced on dynamic capacities and family business for the development of knowledge of the area, pointing out gaps and research opportunities. To achieve this goal, the survey and research of international academic production was carried out. Through a set of ex-ante questions, it was possible to identify the main categorical groups of authors in the area, universities/research institutes, main journals, countries belonging to universities/research institutes, and to identify and analyze the main objectives, concepts, techniques and contributions of selected scientific articles. Among the results obtained, it was verified that the field that addresses these two themes is valid and there is an ascendancy of studies focused on the theme. Through this study it was possible to verify the presence of some emerging themes and opportunities for new research, among them are: organizational culture, innovation and accumulation of knowledge. To know the studies already carried out in this area is to be able to create a foundation for new studies to be developed.As pesquisas sobre capacidades dinâmicas e empresa familiar ainda são escassas no Brasil. Dessa forma, torna-se relevante estudar a junção dessas temáticas que vem recebendo destaque nos últimos anos na academia. Este estudo apresenta a contribuição do que foi produzido sobre capacidades dinâmicas e empresa familiar para o desenvolvimento do conhecimento da área, apontando lacunas e oportunidades de pesquisa. Para alcançar tal objetivo foi realizado o levantamento e a investigação da produção acadêmica internacional. Por meio de um conjunto de questões definidas ex-ante foi possível identificar os principais grupos categóricos de autores da área, universidades/institutos de pesquisa, principais periódicos, países que pertencem universidades/institutos de pesquisa, além de identificar e analisar os principais objetivos, conceitos, técnicas e as contribuições dos artigos científicos selecionados. Dentre os resultados obtidos, verificou-se que o campo que aborda essas duas temáticas é válido e há uma ascendência de estudos voltados para o tema. Por meio deste estudo foi possível constatar a presença de alguns temas emergentes e oportunidades para novas pesquisas, dentre eles estão: cultura organizacional, inovação e acumulação de conhecimento.
