Apuntes para un acercamiento a la psiquiatría como instrumento político

In this text we make a non-exhaustive review of some of the dilemmas that psychiatry presents from the political point of view. An opinion of the author is provided based on different sources, bibliographic and other areas. Some of the effects that the psychiatrization of everyday life has produced and the reaction it has caused on the part of critical professionals and groups of affected people are analyzed. Finally, some brief and modest proposals for the future are provided.En este texto hacemos una revisión no exhaustiva de algunos de los dilemas que presenta la psiquiatría desde el punto de vista político. Se aporta una opinión del autor basada en diferentes fuentes, bibliográficas y de otros ámbitos. Se analizan algunos de los efectos que la psiquiatrización de la vida cotidiana ha producido y la reacción que ha provocado por parte de profesionales críticos y colectivos de afectados. Finalmente se aportan unas breves y modestas propuestas para el futuro
