The research is based on the creation of teaching strategies using the Braille Method for the instruction of mathematics in children with functional (visual) diversity. The scheme adopted by the study developed, is focused on the feasible project model, based on the quantitative paradigm. The methodology implemented during the process was the level of descriptive research and the research design assumed was field. To collect the information, the sample was represented by 09 teachers of Special Education, carrying out a survey of closed dichotomous questions, using the questionnaire as an instrument.
