The aim this study was to realize ethnobotanical survey in Settlement Tabuleiro Grande Project, located in Apodi - RN, to contribute to the rescue of popular knowledge and discuss the implications of the use of trees in the conservation of forest resources. The conduct of the study was through direct observation and semi-structured interviews (21 interviews). Data analysis were made qualitative approaches (access to subjective information) and quantitative (use value -VU, Shannon diversity and Pielou evenness indexes).
