A study was conducted at the Faculty of Sustainable Agriculture, Universiti Malaysia Sabah, to investigate the effect of temperature and light on seed germination of Cynodon dactylon (L.) Pers. This study was arranged in a Completely Randomized Design (CRD), with 4 replicates for each treatment. Temperatures used in this study were ambient environment ( ± 24 °C), alternating temperature of 30/20 °C, 20 °C, 25 °C and 30 0 C.
