Se determinaron las constantes cinéticas de adsorción de 2-nitrofenol desde la disolución acuosa sobre dos muestras de carbón activado de origen lignocelulosico (CAP) y de origen mineral (CAG), aplicando los modelos cinéticos de pseudo primer orden y pseudo segundo orden, con el propósito de caracterizar la interacción sólido-disolución acuosa y evaluar las características texturales y químicas de las muestras carbonosas en la adsorción de 2-nitrofenol
