New whole-rock major and trace elements data, zircon laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS) U-Pb ages, and zircon Hf isotope compositions were analysed for Early Cretaceous volcanic rocks, also called Meiriqieco Formation (MF) in the Duobuzha area of the Southern Qiangtang-Baoshan Block (SQBB), northern Tibet. Our aim is to clarify their petrogenesis and tectonic setting, and constrain the evolution process on the northern margin of Bangong-Nujiang suture zone (BNSZ) during Early Cretaceous time.
