Associate Professor Fiona Graham developed this narrative with military historian Colin Winn to film inside a World War One mine shaft and tunnel. Graham directed the film which uses digital technology to view the location underground on the battlefields in France. She had access and permissions to film this privately owned location in France. It was researched by Graham to create a narrative and produce visual content to capture the location for the public to view at the Staffordshire Regimental Museum and online. It is of particular significance to the museum as it is where two soldiers from Tipton in the West Midlands were killed in World War One and their bodies never recovered.
