International audience1 IntroductionOver the past 50 years, agrifood systems in France and in Europe have been evolving towards a simplification and a regional specialization of crops and cropping systems (Schott et al., 2010). This evolution was originally driven by goals of mass production of food and economies of scale, but its sustainability is now questioned.
