Water resources are threatened by various forms of pollution and the proposed treatment processes are often complex with results that are not always satisfactory. This study aims to develop a simple and inexpensive treatment to minimize the presence of humic acids (HA), an organic pollutant, in water. The approach adopted is the establishment of a hybrid process combining adsorption and heterogeneous photocatalysis performed with titanium dioxide. The adsorption method was carried out primary with activated carbon and secondary with three clays from Ivory Coast.
