Stratigraphie et faunes d'ammonites du Malm-Berriasien basal dans la région du moyen Ouerrha (Prérif interne, Maroc)

In the middle Ouerrha region, the study of the upper Jurassic mudstones blocks which emerge in a complexe tectonic position either side of Moulay Bouchta village, has permitted to establish a detailed stratigraphy and to subdivide the serie of the Malm-Berriasian in two formations :- in the base, the mudstones of Msila ;- in the top, a serie more marly which we calle marly-mudstones of El-Bouïed.The vertical and horizontal variations of the facies which represent these formations leads us to define seven members and to make a spatial cutting of the sector in two facies zones : the zone of east Moulay Bouchta and the zone of West Moulay Bouchta.The bio and lithostratigraphic analyses in the same time of the Prerif blocks show that the lateral variations of the facies are in relation with the basin paleogeography and that these blocks reflect the polarity of this one. The establishment of the facies maps has permitted to recognize five major lithological cuttings of a large extension (eustatism). These are in the large part associated to the fluctuations of the marine sea level, but are sometimes associated to the tectonic phases.The paleontological study of the mean ammonitic genres has been realized. The fauna is abundant only in the lower Kimmeridgian and in the Tithonian (Fallauxi and Microcanthum zones). The faunal associations of the mean zones recognized are given for the first time for the all internal Prerif. We note in the lower Kimmeridgian, the abundance of the Ataxioceratidae (Ardescia, Schneidia), which has been known until now essentially in the sub mediterranean province. It appears that the differentiation of the Mediterranean and the submediterranean of the ammonitic fauna has been in the great part depends of the depth environment. In the Tithonian, the ammonitic fauna belongs typically to the mediterranean province.Dans la région du Moyen Ouerrha, l’étude des blocs calcaires du Jurassique supérieur qui émergent en position tectonique complexe, de part et d’autre du village de Moulay Bouchta, a permis d’établir une stratigraphie détaillée et de subdiviser la série du Malm-Berriasien en deux formations :- à la base, les calcaires de Msila ;- au sommet, une série plus marneuse que nous nommons Marno-calcaires d’El Bouïed.Les variations de faciès tant verticales qu’horizontales, que présentent ces formations, nous ont conduits à définir 7 membres et à faire un découpage spatial du secteur en deux zones de faciès : la zone de Moulay Bouchta Est et la zone de Moulay Bouchta Ouest.L’analyse à la fois bio-et lithostratigraphique des blocs prérifains montre que les variations latérales de faciès sont en relation avec la paléogéographie du bassin et que ces blocs reflètent la polarité de celui-ci. L’établissement des cartes de faciès a permis de reconnaître cinq coupures lithologiques majeures de large extension (eustatisme). Elles sont en grande partie liées à des fluctuations du niveau marin, mais sont parfois associées à des phases tectoniques.L’étude paléontologique des principaux genres d’ammonites a été réalisée. La faune n’est abondante que dans le Kimméridgien inférieur et dans le Tithonien (zones à Fallauxi et à Microcanthum). Les associations fauniques des principales zones reconnues sont données pour la première fois pour l’ensemble du Prérif interne. Au Kimméridgien inférieur on note l’abondance des Ataxioceratidae (Ardescia, Schneidia), qui étaient jusqu’ici essentiellement connus dans la province subméditerranéenne ; il semble que la différenciation des faunes d’ammonites méditerranéennes et subméditerranéennes soit en grande partie liée à la profondeur du milieu. Au Tithonien, la faune d’ammonite appartient typiquement à la province méditerranéenne
