Resistance to malathion (organophosphorous) in Culex pipiens L., 1758, and detection to resistance genes (Diptera, Culicidae). Culex pipiens L., 1758, populations collected in urban and suburban Constantine environment showed that the sensitivity to the malathion, an organophosphorous insecticide, had a level average of resistance. The genes detection coding test for the esterase synthesis was achieved user starch gel by electrophoresis. The tests results revealed the presence of two amplified genes A2-B2. These genes were identified on a population whose individuals belong to an open lodging suburban.
