Youth e-cigarette use has risen dramatically in South Carolina in the last three years, surpassing the use of cigarettes and other tobacco products for the first time. This is a major public health concern. Youth use of nicotine increases their risk of addiction, and can make them more susceptible to addiction to tobacco products and other substances in the future. Fortunately, there are steps that can be taken by parents, educators, and health care providers to mitigate the growing risk
