This proposed telecommunications tower, located 200 feet outside of the Table Rock State Park boundaries, needed a license from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to build. Numerous concerned citizens all commented that the tower would adversely affect the Table Rock National Register Historic District. The license applicant has addressed the comments from interested parties and is exploring other alternatives for service in the area
