Results of a performance audit of the South Carolina Department of Transportation : final report

MGT of America was hired by the South Carolina Legislative Audit Council to conduct a performance audit of South Carolina Department of Transportation. The MGT audit team reviewed SCDOT‘s implementation of the prior LAC audit recommendations and found that SCDOT has generally made significant efforts to address the LAC‘s findings and recommendations. Consequently, the audit team‘s review of SCDOT documentation, work papers prepared by SCDOT‘s internal auditor, and the audit team‘s tests and fieldwork revealed that SCDOT has been successful in fully addressing 31 of the 44 recommendations
