International audienceBetter understanding the cognitive processes involved in decision-making and adaptive behaviors is fundamental for the artificial intelligence community. In this paper, we study the cognitive strategies allowing the generation of random choices by mice. We use a reinforcement learning (RL) algorithm to model the animals' behavior in a task rewarding non-repetitive choice sequences.
