Writing thesis or final task become a requirement to finish a study in higher education. Writing anxiety types is classified into three aspect such as, cognitive, somatic, and behavior avoidance. In case of the cause of writing anxiety, it was also classified into three aspects, such as pre-writing, main-writing, and post-writing. It is assumed that the students also have their own strategy to reduce their anxiety. This study aimed to identify the types of writing anxiety experienced by ELED students writing their thesis, to investigate the causes of ELED students’ writing anxiety in writing thesis, to know the strategies to cope anxiety in writing thesis.
