EVALUASI KINERJA SIMPANG TIGA BERSINYAL KOTA SIDOARJO (STUDI KASUS PADA PERSIMPANGAN JL. LINGKAR TIMUR – JL. RAYA TEBEL)

Intersection of three signal between Jl. Lingkar TImur – Jl. Raya Tebel located in Sidoarjo regency has a high traffic volume because it is in the commercial area. The problem is during peak hours there are traffic jam and long delay. The objectives of this study are to evaluate the existing intersection performance and to give several alternative solutions. This study also predict it’s next 5 year performances. The method of research is conducting survey at the peak hour that has been determined. Research calculations implemented using Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia 1997. Evaluation of the intersection of three signal performance between Jl. Lingkar TImur – Jl. Raya Tebel show results that maksimum degree of saturation (DS) for north is 0,91 more than recommended DS ≤ 0,8 with capacity (C) 1.212,96 pcu/hour, queue length (QL) 174,17 m, stop number of vechiles (NS) 0,51 stop/pcu, delay (D) is 274,04 sec/pcu and in the indeks tingkat pelayanan (ITP) including category F. There were 2 alternatives improvement applied and the second alternative as the best solution for current condition. The results show that the degree of saturation (DS) is 0,72, capacity (C) 1.640,06 pcu/hour, queue length (QL) 122,03 m, stop number of vechiles (NS) 0,78 stop/pcu, and in indeks tingkat pelayanan (ITP) including category C
