A large number of houte that used brick to construct it’s wall resources to decline, brick mixture can inovated by using oil palm shells. In this study, palm oil shell waste was used as fine aggregate subtitute. The testing incluuides compressive strength and specific gravity test. Brick mixture use a ratio of 1 cement: 6 sand. Palm shells were taken from industrial waste in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan. The percentage of oil palm shells as substitution of fine aggregate was 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%.
