Ricostruzioni digitali per lo studio degli spazi teatrali dall’età arcaica all’età imperiale: alcuni casi studio

The contribution concerns digital reconstruction as a method for the study of theatrical spaces from the archaic age to the imperial age. After some preliminary observations on the characteristics Structures of Greek and Roman scenic buildings, some case studies are presented, examples of an experienced working method. Case studies include ikria and ekklesiasteria of Metaponto (7th-5th century BC), the Greek theater of Metaponto (4th century BC), the Greek theater of Tindari (III-II century BC), the Roman theater of Augusta Bagiennorum (1st century AD), with an interesting status quaestionis on the state of the findings and the added value of accurate 3D reconstructions
