The advent of an enterprise system (ES) purports to enforce a dip in employees performance at the beginning due to a myriad of factors. Anecdotal commentary suggests that, over time, users could improve their performance. However, our understanding of the users lifecycle-wide performance still lacks scientific rigor and empirical evidence. As such, this study makes a longitudinal assessment that compares individual ES performance across the two main phases of the ES-lifecycle of different user types (i.e., operational, management and executive staff).
