Spinal cord injury (SCI) is one of the major causes of paralysis worldwide. Since the communication between the brain and the spinal circuits is interrupted, people affected by SCI present a lack of movement and sensation below the level of the injury. For these patients, the restoration of arm and hand movements is their priority. One of the strategies is Epidural Electrical Stimulation.
