Global identification methods can provide an important contribution for the economical maintenance of our infrastructure. Nevertheless so far available approaches demand too large efforts regarding the collection of data and/or interpretation. Within the project AIFIT diverse approaches are analysed and partly enhanced not only regarding their results, but as well concerning their single demands. Based on the demands of the bridge owners several methods have been developed, which will be introduced in the following. Their capabilities have been studied so far at eight two-span reinforced concrete beams of a total of nine.
