Automatic control in various fields has reduced not only human labor but also increased efficiency and reliability. With the advancement in technology human labor has decreased to a large extent. This paper mainly focuses on designing a model for efficient cooling system for overcoming heating and insulation losses. PLC is used ideally for online monitoring and data recording. A cooling system based on Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) isproposed. The problem of manual transformer cooling system can be eradicated by automatically switching between the cooling banks. This cooling system uses a Panasonic PLC FPO4 C16 as the control element
