The present work analyzes the emotions of the students in their passage through Secondary Education, in relation to the learning of diverse matters related to the sciences, trying to find possible differences according to the gender of the subject. For this, a questionnaire was elaborated that includes different emotions where the student had to indicate with what frequency they experienced those emotions in the learning of the scientific subjects. The sample consists of 510 first-year students of different careers and branches of knowledge of the University of Extremadura (Spain) during the academic year 2012/2013.
