Abstract: Contains reports on and photographs of UA campus buildings that were slated for destruction.Scope and Content Note: Contains reports on campus buildings that were slated for destruction. Gene Ford, architectural historian with OAR at UA, was contracted to complete these reports. They loosely follow an HABS style and format. Included are reports for the following buildings: Somerville Hall, Palmer Hall, New Hall, Byrd Hall, and Wilson Hall. They contain reports with narrative describing the history of the building, along with contextual information, as well as photographs.
