Abstract: This collection contains a diary written by Emma Rivers Milner of Clearwater, Florida and Milner's research for a book about her grandfather, Dr. Richard Henderson Rivers. Dr. Rivers was the president of Wesleyan University in Florence, Alabama, before the Civil War.
