Abstract: One photo album, Navy yearbook, postcard, newspaper, two magazines, and several documents belonging to Paul Ohlms, a machinist in the US Navy from Newark, New Jersey.Scope and Content Note: The collection includes several items belong to World War II Navy machinist first class, Paul Ohlms of New Jersey. A photo album and yearbook from his years in the navy are included. A Navy newspaper called The Beach Buster, a magazine article on beach busters, a magazine called The Drive Line of which Ohlms is pictured on the front receiving training, a photocopy of Ohlms with an unsigned note, a postcard picture of Ohlms and a young lady, and several documents from his time in the Navy and receiving his US citizenship.Biographical/Histori...
