A bill that would require employers to allow their employees to accrue sick leave at a rate of one hour for every 30 hours work, LD 1159, has been recommended to be sent to the full legislature for vote. The bill is opposed by the Maine State Chamber of Commerce, the Maine State Restaurant Association, Maine Innkeepers Association and Retail Association of Maine
