The Maine Lobster Marketing Collaborative (MLMC) hired the global public relations firm Weber Standwick to help expand existing markets and find new ones. MLMC comments the lobster industry in Maine is a great story, which is delicious, healthy, sustainably harvested lobsters, traceable to individual fisherman rooted in fishing communities for generations, but that it needed a new marketing campaign to expand the story to other markets. Hiring the new public relations firm follows a two-year period of turbulence and transition in the industry
