John Roberts, the Biddeford clothing manufacturer, on Tuesday filed Chapter 7 papers in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Portland, which clears the way for the liquidation of the company\u27s assets or the emergence of a new company. A trustee will be appointed by the court, and will determine how to return the most money to creditors. The Finance Authority of Maine, which invested $1.3 million in the company, could lose around $750,000 from its reserve fund. Details
