Rebecca Close, 38, of Standish, whose son was killed on Thursday when her vehicle went off the road after she apparently had an epileptic seizure, was involved in a more minor accident the previous day. Authorities had planned to contact doctors and hospitals to determine if the earlier accident had been caused by Close\u27s medical condition but had not made the inquiries before the second accident took place. The state can suspend the driving privileges of people suffering from certain medical conditions and Close\u27s license had been suspended in September and was restored only four days before the fatal crash
