The Maine State Board of Education on Wednesday will consider a proposal that would allow Oxford Hills High School to merge with Oxford Hills Technical School, creating a new category for state funding so the school can bypass the normal process for obtaining money for school construction. If the proposal is approved, the state would fund $27 million of the $29 million project. Plans call for the rehabilitation and a doubling in size of the current high school, with the technical school moving into the building when the project is complete. Details
